John Mayer, Stephen and Ayesha Curry, and Michael J. Fox are set to receive recognition for their philanthropic endeavors at the upcoming third annual Social Impact Summit hosted by the Hollywood Reporter and the Social Impact Fund in July. John Mayer will be honored as Philanthropist of the Year for his work with the Heart and Armor Foundation for Veterans Health, which supports veterans' mental health and community reintegration. The Currys will be recognized as Philanthropists of the Year for their nonprofit Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, which focuses on food access, literacy, and youth sports in Oakland, California. Michael J. Fox's foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease, will be honored as the Philanthropic Organization of the Year. The event will take place on July 22 in Los Angeles.
