RINGANA to Establish $85 Million U.S. Headquarters in Roanoke, Creating 435 Jobs

An Austrian skincare and nutritional products manufacturer will invest $85 million in establishing a U.S. headquarters in Roanoke, creating 435 jobs, as announced by Governor Abigail Spanberger. RINGANA will be located at the Blue Ridge Commerce Park, near Interstate 581, on the site of a former Johnson & Johnson facility. Virginia's workforce, training programs, and business-friendly environment were highlighted as key factors in attracting the company to the state.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership, in collaboration with Roanoke and the Roanoke Regional Partnership, facilitated the project's establishment in Virginia. Governor Spanberger approved a $5 million state grant to support Roanoke in securing the investment. RINGANA, with over 800 employees globally, currently distributes its products in Europe, Central, and South America.
The Roanoke site will serve as RINGANA's North American production and distribution center for skincare products, nutritional supplements, and beverages. It will house manufacturing, warehousing, and research and development operations. Company leadership visited Roanoke in February to discuss the facility and Virginia's workforce, expressing satisfaction with the location and community support.
RINGANA's founder and CEO, Andreas Wilfinger, praised the Roanoke location and the warm reception from the local community and authorities. The company has launched a website for job opportunities at its Roanoke facility, emphasizing the collaborative efforts that led to this successful investment in the region.
In conclusion, the establishment of RINGANA's U.S. headquarters in Roanoke signifies a significant investment in the region, creating job opportunities and showcasing the area's potential for global business growth. The collaboration between local authorities, economic development organizations, and the company highlights the region's readiness to compete on a global scale.
