Tragic Head-On Collision Claims Lives of Ripley County Couple in Dearborn County, Indiana

A tragic incident occurred in Dearborn County, Indiana, where a Ripley County couple lost their lives in a head-on collision. The crash took place on State Road 350 around 6 p.m. The collision involved a Ford F-150 and an eastbound GMC Terrain driven by Jordan Walters, 33, and his wife, Sierra Walters, 33, who tragically passed away at the scene. Their two young children, who were also in the vehicle, sustained injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction Team conducted a preliminary investigation into the accident. The Ford F-150, driven by a 46-year-old man from Moores Hill, crossed the center line for unknown reasons, resulting in the head-on collision with the GMC Terrain. The impact caused the pickup truck to come to a stop in the roadway, while the SUV veered off the south side of the road and down an embankment.
