A tragic incident occurred on U.S. Highway 93 near Craters of the Moon National Monument, resulting in the death of a 65-year-old man from Pocatello. The man lost control of his motorcycle while traveling southbound on his 2022 Harley-Davidson. The accident took place south of Arco in Butte County at 11:58 a.m. The man veered off the road and ended up in the lava rocks along the highway. Despite wearing a helmet, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Idaho State Police are currently investigating the crash.
