Rock 'n' Roll Door Drama: Ronnie Wood's Pink Door Dispute in Little Venice

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood faced a dispute with planning officials over the color of his pink front door at his £7 million mansion in Little Venice, North West London. The council deemed the pink color to be incongruous with the area and requested that Ronnie repaint it black, in line with the lyrics of the band's song "Paint It Black." Similarly, his neighbor, Angela Allen, was also asked to repaint her blue door to comply with the regulations or face a hefty fine. Both properties are part of a group of listed buildings within a conservation area, according to Westminster City Council. Ronnie, who lives in the Grade II-listed home with his wife and twin daughters, has not commented on the matter.
