Technical Briefing on Protecting Privacy and Consumer Data Act: Media Invitation
Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada officials will host a technical briefing for the media on the new bill titled An Act to enact the Protecting Privacy and Consumer Data Act, amending the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and making changes to other Acts. The briefing will take place on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 4:30 pm (ET) at the National Press Theatre in Ottawa, Ontario. Accredited members of the Press Gallery can participate in person or via Zoom for the question-and-answer session.
