Armed Robbery Arrest: Charleston Man Charged for Gas Station Hold-Up on Bigley Avenue
A man from Charleston, West Virginia, was arrested for an armed robbery at a gas station on Bigley Avenue. Shavan Collins, 39, was charged with robbery after threatening gas station workers with a gun and demanding money. Surveillance footage captured Collins pointing the gun at the worker and taking an undisclosed amount of cash. Collins, who has distinctive tattoos on his chest and face, was identified from the video. He fled the scene on a bike but was apprehended later that night. Collins is currently in custody on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
