Edko Films' action-packed thriller "The Furious" dominated the Chinese box office over the June 12-14 weekend, securing the top spot with a strong performance of RMB76.1 million ($11.2 million). The film, directed by Kenji Tanigaki and produced by Bill Kong, follows the story of Wang Wei, played by Xie Miao, as he takes on a child trafficking syndicate to rescue his kidnapped daughter. With only a journalist named Navin (Joe Taslim) by his side, Wang Wei embarks on a relentless mission for justice.

Following closely behind, Jinant Film & TV's heartwarming family drama "Dear You" slipped to second place, earning $8.9 million during the weekend. The film, directed by Lan Hongchun, has garnered praise and a lifetime gross of $255.7 million since its release on April 30. "Dear You" tells the story of an elderly woman whose peaceful life is disrupted when her grandson sets out to uncover family secrets tied to the Qiaopi tradition.

In third place, Universal's "Disclosure Day," directed by Steven Spielberg, made its debut with a weekend gross of $2.9 million. The film explores themes of disclosure and secrecy in a compelling narrative.

Zhonghe Qiancheng's crime thriller "Vanishing Point" maintained its position in the top five, securing the fourth spot with $1.8 million in earnings. Directed by Cheng Wei-hao, the film delves into a complex web of mysteries within a residential building following the disappearance of a child.

Lastly, Studiocanal's World War II drama "Pressure" rounded out the top five with $500,000 in its second weekend, bringing its total earnings to $2.4 million. Despite the challenges faced by the film industry, Mainland China's box office grossed $28.8 million over the weekend, contributing to a year-to-date revenue of $2.41 billion, reflecting a decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
