Kazakhstan's Partnership with Firebird Inc. and Nvidia Corp. to Establish AI Hub and Data Center Valley

Kazakhstan has entered into agreements with the startup Firebird Inc. to collaborate on computing projects with Nvidia Corp., potentially attracting up to $10 billion in investments. The Central Asian country aims to establish itself as a hub for artificial intelligence development. The partnership includes a strategic cooperation agreement to enhance AI infrastructure and outlines plans for a major project called Data Center Valley in Kazakhstan's northeast region. The first phase of the project will involve $5 billion in investments, with Kazakhtelecom contributing $1 billion. Commercial operations at the 125-megawatt facility are scheduled to commence in 2027, with details about the second phase and additional investments to be determined later.
