Oregon Baseball Stars Shine: Three Players Invited to USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp

Three Oregon baseball players, Tanner Bradley, Will Sanford, and Brayden Jaksa, have received invitations to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp. They will be competing with 53 other players for a spot on the final 28-man team, with Jaksa also eligible for the "Stripes" team, which is mainly composed of freshmen. The Collegiate National Team will play exhibition games and a series before participating in the World Collegiate Baseball Championship in Taiwan.

Bradley had an outstanding season as a relief pitcher, earning All-America honors and finishing with a 1.66 ERA in 31 appearances. Sanford, on the other hand, earned Perfect Game All-America honors with a 9-2 record and a 3.74 ERA in 17 starts. Jaksa, a freshman, was named to the freshman All-America teams as a catcher and first baseman, finishing with a .318 batting average and 10 home runs.

Oregon has a history of players representing the Collegiate National Team, with past members including Kenyon Yovan, Travis Moniot, and David Peterson. The current invitees, Bradley, Sanford, and Jaksa, continue the tradition of Oregon players being recognized for their talent and skills on the national stage.
