Kenny Chesney: Living in Fast Forward - A Journey Through Country Music History

A new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville will highlight the life and career of country star Kenny Chesney. Titled "Kenny Chesney: Living in Fast Forward," the exhibit will run from July 23 to June 2027. It will showcase Chesney's journey from his early days in East Tennessee to becoming one of the top touring acts in the music industry. The exhibit will feature instruments, memorabilia, awards, and more, providing fans with a comprehensive look at Chesney's career.
The exhibit will include items such as the varsity jacket and jersey Chesney wore in high school, the guitar he played in college and after moving to Nashville, and a cassette tape with a demo recording from 1992. Additionally, there will be a Gibson Les Paul guitar signed by Chesney's friends Steve Miller and Sammy Hagar, as well as other personal items like the wicker rocking chair that inspired his song "Old Blue Chair" and the tank top and jeans he wore during a performance at Gillette Stadium.
In support of the exhibition, the museum will host public events and family programming. Songwriter and producer Buddy Cannon, a longtime collaborator of Chesney, will participate in an interview about his own career at the museum's Ford Theater on July 25. Tickets for the event will be available starting June 17.
Chesney has been active in 2026, performing at the Tortuga Music Festival and preparing for a second residency at Sphere Las Vegas. The "Living in Fast Forward" exhibit is presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and will be included with museum admission. Chesney hopes the exhibit will inspire others to pursue their dreams, reflecting on his own journey and the people he has met along the way.
