Pulp has revealed a new film titled What Do You Do For An Encore?, directed by Garth Jennings. The 90-minute movie follows the band's rise to fame, with Jarvis Cocker providing narration. It is set to be released this autumn on MUBI's streaming platform and features a mix of live performances and archival footage.

The film is described as a tribute to Pulp's unique blend of music and social commentary, capturing their iconic stage presence and decades of unseen material. It includes 20 songs from the band's repertoire and aims to answer the question of what to do for an encore after a successful career.

Director Garth Jennings, known for his work on music videos and films, helmed the project, which was edited by Barney Pilling. The production was a collaboration between MUBI, Opal Films, VICE Studios, and other partners. An exact release date for the film has not been announced yet.

Pulp is gearing up for a special performance at London's Royal Festival Hall and a headline show in Manchester before appearing at End Of The Road 2026 and Mad Cool Festival. The band recently released new music and hinted at the possibility of more songs in the future, following the success of their latest album 'More'.

Jarvis Cocker, the frontman of Pulp, has been involved in various creative projects, including curating an art exhibition with his wife Kim Sion. Fans can look forward to the upcoming film and live performances from the iconic British band.
