A fatal car crash in Taunton, Massachusetts, was confirmed by Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn. The incident occurred on Winthrop Street and was reported to authorities after multiple 911 calls around 10 a.m. A white BMW was found on a parking bumper with severe damage to the driver's side, and the driver, Ivonne Caicedo Gallego, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another vehicle, a black Kia SUV, was also involved in the crash, with the occupants sustaining non-life-threatening injuries and being taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Additionally, a semi-truck with a detached trailer and two other vehicles were damaged in the collision. The investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
