Jeff Daniels Joins Brendan Fraser in Cosmic Sci-Fi Thriller 'Starman' Directed by Josh Wakely

Jeff Daniels, a two-time Emmy winner, has been cast in the upcoming cosmic sci-fi thriller Starman alongside Oscar winner Brendan Fraser. The film, written and directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Josh Wakely, is set to start filming this summer. Daniels will portray Ed Watkins, the protective co-leader of a transformational company founded with visionary technologist Tom Adams (played by Fraser).
In Starman, Tom Adams embarks on a groundbreaking expedition to Mars, positioning himself at the forefront of humanity's next great frontier. However, unforeseen events leave him stranded millions of miles from Earth, turning his mission into a race against time fueled by love. The film is a GRACE: A Storytelling Company production, with Eddie Vaisman, Josh Wakely, and Rebecca Graham serving as producers.
David S. Goyer, known for his work on "Batman Begins," is an executive producer on the project. The film is financed by Tarek Sherif and Ryan Graves, with international sales handled by Anton. Daniels, a versatile actor with a successful career in film, television, and theater, has won two Emmys and received three Tony Award nominations.
His impressive filmography includes roles in acclaimed movies such as "The Martian," "Terms of Endearment," and "Good Night and Good Luck." Daniels is set to star in the upcoming season of Apple TV's "The Morning Show" and has recently appeared in Netflix's limited series "A Man in Full."
