Warrior Cats Animated Series Coming to Disney+: A New Adventure Awaits!

An animated TV adaptation of the popular children's fantasy book series "Warrior Cats" is in the works for Disney+. The show, set to air in 2028, will be based on the first series of books titled "Warrior Cats: The Prophecies Begin." A.C. Bradley will serve as the showrunner, with Rodrigo Blaas directing the series. The "Warrior Cats" novel series, which began in 2003 under the pseudonym Erin Hunter, has sold over 90 million books and been translated into 38 languages.
Coolabi Group announced the TV project earlier this week, revealing that it had been greenlit and was already in production. The show is set to air on Tencent Video platforms in China and Southeast Asia. Disney Kids & Family president Ayo Davis expressed excitement about bringing the beloved series to Disney+, stating that "Warrior Cats" has inspired a generation of fans.
