The title track, "Carrying Your Love with Me," was a standout hit, written by Steve Bogard and Jeff Stevens. The song was almost recorded by Tim McGraw, but he backed off when he learned that Strait had claimed it. Despite missing out on the opportunity, McGraw still considers it one of his favorite songs from Strait's extensive catalog.
