Lawsuit Filed Against MLB Player Adam LaRoche and Country Stars Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean Over Closure of E3 Chophouse in Nashville

A real estate company has filed a lawsuit against MLB player Adam LaRoche and country stars Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean following the closure of their Nashville restaurant, E3 Chophouse. The lawsuit alleges that the three owners abruptly closed the restaurant and stopped paying rent, leading to a default on their lease agreement. The original location of E3 Chophouse is in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, owned by LaRoche and his family. Aldean and Bryan had long discussed opening a Nashville location, which finally opened in late 2019. However, in February, the restaurant announced a temporary pause in operations to evaluate market opportunities and potential rebranding strategies. Village 21 Investment Partners, the real estate company, is seeking damages for breach of the lease guaranty, as the owners had guaranteed the performance of the tenant's obligations under the lease. A judge is set to hear the motion to amend the complaint on July 10.
