While Worthington's children may not watch his work, his wife, Lara Worthington, and one of his sons recently binge-watched screener episodes of I Will Find You. The actor shared that they stayed up until 4 a.m. watching the series and enjoyed trying to figure out the twists and turns in the storyline. In the show, Worthington portrays David Burroughs, a man imprisoned for his son's murder who discovers that his son may still be alive.

Worthington revealed that his wife encouraged him to consider the role in I Will Find You, as she was a fan of Harlan Coben, the author of the book on which the series is based. The actor also discussed his involvement in the Avatar franchise, mentioning that fans can expect to wait for the next installment due to director James Cameron's dedication to perfecting the scripts based on fan feedback.
