Unveiling the Darkness: Robert Eggers' "Werwulf" Trailer to Debut on June 29th
Focus Features is set to unveil the first trailer for Robert Eggers' upcoming film "Werwulf" on June 29th, coinciding with the full moon. The trailer was previously shown at CinemaCon in April and is expected to be released to the public soon. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, Ralph Ineson, and Bodhi Rae Breathnach, the movie is set in 13th century England and promises to be Eggers' darkest work to date. Co-written by Eggers and Sjón, the film follows a mysterious creature haunting a foggy countryside, blurring the lines between folklore and reality. Shot on 35mm film in a 1.37:1 aspect ratio, "Werwulf" is slated for a theatrical release on December 25th.
