White Winged Doves: A Poetry Anthology Celebrating Stevie Nicks and More

Stevie Nicks is a renowned figure known for her unique voice and captivating style. She joined Fleetwood Mac with Lindsey Buckingham, adding a new dimension to the band. A new poetry anthology titled "White Winged Doves" pays tribute to Nicks' influence with over 70 poems filled with mystical imagery and nostalgic memories. The anthology, edited by Collin Kelley and Megan Volpert, features contributions from various poets, including Georgians like Julie E. Bloemeke and Amanda Killian.
One of the standout poems in the anthology is "The Woman Sings in Storms" by Nma Dhahir, which beautifully captures Nicks' essence. Other poetry collections released this summer include "Broken Houses" by Chelsea Rathburn, exploring themes of family and home, and "Tree of Knowledge" by Victoria Chang, delving into loss and identity. Additionally, "Star Power" by Nicholas Goodly celebrates the Black queer experience and the importance of representation in the arts.
