Appeal for Witnesses: Petrol Bomb Attack in Downpatrick

Authorities are seeking witnesses and details following an incident where a petrol bomb was thrown at a residence in Downpatrick during the early hours of Monday, June 22nd. According to Sergeant Beacom, two individuals in dark attire, with hoods covering their faces, hurled a lit object at a property on Pound Lane before fleeing towards John Street. The police and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service responded to the scene, where the fire had been put out by one of the occupants. The house sustained some damage, including scorch marks on the front and the door. Although three individuals were inside the property at the time, no injuries were reported.
