Iconic Bands The B-52's and Devo Announce Cosmic De-Evolution Tour Dates for Fall 2025
The iconic bands The B-52's and Devo are teaming up for more tour dates this fall as part of their ongoing Cosmic De-Evolution tour. The tour will kick off on September 17 in Tinley Park, Illinois, and will conclude with a Halloween show in Palm Desert, California on October 31. Devo announced the additional shows on X and tickets will be available for purchase starting June 26 on their official website.
Both bands have been performing together overseas in the U.K., Scotland, and Germany, as well as separately. The B-52's recently had a series of concerts at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Despite previous indications that Devo might stop touring, they have returned to a busy schedule, including a documentary released in 2024. The band launched their Mutate, Don't Stagnate tour earlier this year with a message of environmental awareness and responsibility.
The decision for The B-52's and Devo to tour together came after their joint performance at Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary celebration. The bands found that their contrasting energies complemented each other well on stage. Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh described the dynamic as a mix of grumpy criticism and upbeat energy, with Kate Pierson of The B-52's adding humor to the mix. The upcoming tour promises to be a lively and entertaining experience for fans of both bands.
