Keith Tkachuk: A Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee's Legacy

Former St. Louis Blues forward Keith Tkachuk has been announced as an inductee into the Hockey Hall of Fame for the class of 2026. Tkachuk, who played for the Blues for nine years, will be the 27th former Blues player to receive this honor. During his time with the Blues, Tkachuk played in 543 regular-season games, scoring 208 goals and totaling 427 points, ranking him among the franchise's top scorers.
Originally drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in 1990, Tkachuk had a successful NHL career, playing for various teams including the Phoenix Coyotes and the Atlanta Thrashers. He accumulated impressive stats, ranking seventh among American players in NHL history for points, third for goals, ninth for game-winning goals, and fourth for penalty minutes. Tkachuk's career highlights include being a two-time 50-goal scorer and a nine-time 30-goal scorer, making him one of only four players in NHL history to achieve over 1,000 career points and over 2,000 career penalty minutes.
Tkachuk's achievements also include being a five-time NHL All-Star and a two-time selection to the NHL's Second All-Star Team. In addition to his upcoming induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame, Tkachuk was previously honored with induction into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.
