Madonna recently shared details about the breakdown of her planned biopic project, citing budget disagreements with Universal Studios. The film, tentatively titled “Who’s That Girl”, was in the works with Julia Garner set to portray Madonna. Despite efforts to reduce costs by filming in Serbia, the project hit a roadblock due to budget constraints. Madonna then explored the possibility of turning the biopic into a series for Netflix but faced challenges in finding the right creative team, leading to the project being put on hold. In the meantime, Madonna has refocused on her music career, with a new album, Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II, scheduled for release on 3 July.
