Tragic Three-Vehicle Collision Claims Life of Motorcyclist in Floyd County, Virginia

A fatal three-vehicle collision occurred in Floyd County, Virginia, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist, as reported by the Virginia State Police (VSP). The incident took place on Sunday, June 21, at 9:58 a.m. on Floyd Highway, near King Store Road in Floyd County. A 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on Floyd Highway when it crossed the centerline, striking a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze traveling south before colliding head-on with a 2023 Range Rover. The driver of the Harley-Davidson, identified as 69-year-old Kenneth Martin Wingfield from Roanoke, Virginia, was wearing a helmet and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. VSP is currently investigating the crash.
