Utah Mammoth Extend Head Coach Andre Tourigny's Contract and Add Adam Foote to Coaching Staff: NHL Coaching Contract Updates
The Utah Mammoth have extended head coach Andre Tourigny's contract for multiple years. Additionally, Adam Foote has joined Tourigny's coaching staff as an assistant coach, and assistant coach Blaine Forsythe has also received an extension. Tourigny took over as head coach in 2021 and led the team to their first playoff appearance this year, though they were eliminated in the first round. Foote, previously the head coach of the Vancouver Canucks, has now joined the Mammoth as an assistant coach after being let go by the Canucks. Several NHL head coaches are currently on expiring deals for 2027, including Joel Quenneville, Jared Bednar, Rick Bowness, John Hynes, Martin St. Louis, Andre Brunette, Ryan Warsofsky, and Scott Arniel.
