Rockstar Games has officially announced the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI, scheduled for 19 November, with pre-orders opening on 25 June. The upcoming installment in the popular franchise will transport players back to Vice City, a fictional representation of Miami set in the state of Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida. The game will introduce Lucia as the first female protagonist in a 3D GTA game, alongside her partner Jason, in a crime-filled narrative inspired by the Bonnie and Clyde dynamic. Grand Theft Auto VI will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, while information regarding a PC version and pricing is yet to be revealed.
Analysts predict that the development cost of GTA VI could exceed $1 billion, potentially making it the most expensive video game ever created.
