Madonna recently shared details about the breakdown of her planned biopic project, citing budget disagreements with Universal Studios. The film, tentatively titled “Who’s That Girl”, was in the works with Julia Garner set to portray Madonna. Despite efforts to reduce costs by filming in Serbia, the project hit a roadblock due to budget constraints. Madonna then explored the possibility of turning the biopic into a series for Netflix but faced challenges in finding the right creative team. Ultimately, the project was put on hold, and Madonna shifted her focus back to music, with a new album scheduled for release in July.
