The 62nd Academy of Country Music Awards is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 16, 2027, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This year marks the sixth consecutive year that the event will be streamed on Prime Video and the second consecutive year at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Previously, the show was held at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, from 2023 to 2025.
For the second year in a row, the ACM Awards will be streamed on a Sunday night, considered the ideal night for awards show viewership. In its debut on Prime Video in 2022, the show aired on a Monday night, followed by Thursday night broadcasts in the subsequent years.
The 61st ACM Awards in 2026, as reported by Greyhill Advisors, generated an estimated $53 million in total economic impact for the Las Vegas region, marking an 85% increase from the 2025 show. The 60th ACM Awards in 2024 had an economic impact of $28.7 million for Frisco and its surrounding areas.
While the host for the 2027 show has not been announced yet, Shania Twain hosted the 2026 event. Reba McEntire hosted the two previous shows, and Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks co-hosted in 2023. Ella Langley set a new record with seven wins at the 61st ACM Awards, while Cody Johnson received his first ACM Entertainer of the Year award.
The 61st ACM Awards were produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Raj Kapoor and Patrick Menton as executive producers. Damon Whiteside served as the executive producer for the Academy of Country Music, and Jay Penske and Barry Adelman were executive producers for DCP. The show remains available for rebroadcast on Prime Video.
