IU Basketball Gears Up for FISU America Games Exhibition Game at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall

IU basketball is gearing up for the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru, and will be hosting an exhibition game at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on July 15. The team will face off against Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from Montreal, Quebec, in a game scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. ET, and parking will be free at designated areas around the facility. Tickets can be purchased online, and season ticket holders will have access to presale opportunities. The game will follow standard NCAA rules.

The FISU America Games, organized by the International University Sports Federation, aim to promote university sports globally. UniUSA represents the United States in these games, with logistics managed by BTI Events LLC. The event provides students with the opportunity to engage in sports, promoting health, well-being, and valuable experiences that contribute to their development as active members of society.

Under the leadership of head coach Darian DeVries, the Indiana men's basketball program has welcomed several new players, including transfers and recruits. The team has added seven transfers, such as guards Markus Burton, Darren Harris, Bryce Linday, and Jaeden Mustaf, as well as senior guard Justin Monden and junior bigs Aiden Sherrell and Samet Yi?ito?lu. Additionally, the Hoosiers have retained sophomore forward Trent Sisley and brought in a four-man recruiting class consisting of forwards Vaughn Karvala and Trevor Manhertz, guard Prince-Alexander Moody, and center Clemens Sokolov.
