Kian Redman Shatters Records at Bauhaus International Athletics Meet

Track athlete Kian Redman recently set a new Shetland record while representing Scotland at the Bauhaus International Athletics meet in Mannheim, Germany. Redman participated in the individual 100m event and achieved a personal best time of 10.96 seconds, breaking his own previous record of 11.04 seconds. The competition brought together top U20 athletes from around the world, providing Redman with a valuable opportunity to showcase his talent on the international stage.
In addition to his individual performance, Redman also competed in a mixed relay event for the first time. Running the first leg for the Scottish team, they finished behind the GB team with a time of 42.98 seconds. This impressive performance not only set a new Scottish U20 record but also ranked as the eighth fastest time in the world for the year. The experience of competing in an international relay added to Redman's growing list of accomplishments in the sport.
