Rock Legends on Screen: The Beatles and The Rolling Stones Biopics in the Works
The Beatles are set to have four biopics created by Sam Mendes in The Beatles – A Four Film Cinematic Event. Mick Jagger has expressed interest in a similar treatment for The Rolling Stones in a recent interview with British GQ. Jagger discusses the various approaches to biopics and mentions the focus on specific periods in a person's life, like the Bob Dylan film A Complete Unknown. He contemplates which era of The Stones' career would be suitable for a movie adaptation but does not have a specific actor in mind to portray him. While fans anticipate a potential Rolling Stones film, they can look forward to the release of the band's new album, Foreign Tongues, on July 10.
