Rock the Riverfront: JUMP Tribute Band and Sloppy Street Tacos Live on June 27

This Saturday, June 27, Riverfront Nights will showcase JUMP: America’s Van Halen Experience, a tribute band dedicated to honoring Van Halen's David Lee Roth era. Hailing from Toledo, Ohio, the band delivers classic Van Halen hits with impressive guitar solos, strong vocals, and an electrifying stage presence, offering fans an authentic rock-and-roll experience. The show will kick off with Sloppy Street Tacos, a Chattanooga-based alternative funk-rock band influenced by artists like Phish, Radiohead, and The Talking Heads, creating a unique sound that will captivate the audience. Sloppy Street Tacos will take the stage at 7 p.m.
Presented by TVFCU, the event will start at 6 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m., allowing attendees ample time to explore food vendors and beverage options from Coca-Cola and TriStar. TriStar Beverage will offer a variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic options like Michelob Zero, as well as alcoholic beverages like Michelob Ultra, Bud Light, and craft beers. Canned cocktails from Cutwater and a selection of seltzers will also be available. Food truck row will feature a diverse lineup of vendors, including Cha Thai Street Food, El Taco Boss, Freaky Funnels, Jonny Poppers, Kona Ice, and The Kettlecorn Man.
Event organizers have arranged for additional entertainment, such as doggie pools, yard games like cornhole and giant Jenga, and water misters to enhance the evening's fun. Outside coolers, food, and drinks are not permitted at the event, as the food truck row offers a wide range of options for attendees. Attendees are advised to consider the weather when planning to attend outdoor events, as all shows are rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or thunderstorms, shows may be delayed or canceled at the last minute.
