Empowering Women in Film: Back In The Frame Program by Reclaim The Frame

Reclaim The Frame has announced the lineup of industry experts participating in their new Back In The Frame program. This six-month initiative aims to support experienced women and marginalized gender directors and producers as they re-enter the screen industries after a career break. The selected experts include Ameenah Ayub Allan, Cíntia Gil, Lucy Jones, Line Langebek, and others.
The program, supported by Sony Pictures Television (SPT)’s Creative Diversity Fund, addresses the loss of mid-career talent in the UK screen industries and the lack of structured re-entry pathways for filmmakers. Applications are still open for 12 UK-based participants. Running from September 2026 to March 2027, Back in the Frame will provide in-person labs, online industry sessions, mentoring, and cohort development for the participants.
