Jayler: From The Feathers Inn to International Success - The Rise of a West Midlands Quartet

Jayler, a rising young West Midlands quartet, found their musical roots at The Feathers Inn in Lichfield, where they honed their skills and formed a strong bond in 2022. Guitarist Tyler Arrowsmith and singer/guitarist James Bartholomew met at an open-mic night in Tamworth and quickly connected over their shared love for bands like AC/DC. Their collaboration led to the formation of Jayler, with a logo featuring a thunderbolt separating 'Jay' and 'ler' adorning their T-shirts.
Inspired by the energetic performances of Greta Van Fleet, Arrowsmith and Bartholomew initially performed as a duo, but their search for a drummer led them to Ed Evans in 2023. With bassist Ricky Hodgkiss joining the band and Bartholomew switching to guitar, Jayler began playing gigs relentlessly, building a loyal following and refining their sound. Their dedication to live music and constant gigging paid off, attracting the attention of heavyweight management and landing them a 36-date European tour with Deep Purple.
Despite their recent debut album release, "Voices Unheard," Jayler has already made a significant impact in Brazil, where one of their videos garnered over a hundred and twenty-three million views. This unexpected success has led to an invitation to perform at Monsters Of Rock and support Lynyrd Skynyrd in Brazil. With their album out now via Silver Lining Music, Jayler's future looks promising as they continue to captivate audiences with their electrifying performances and dynamic sound.
