Kentucky Football Lands 4-Star WR Tyler Fryman for 2027 Recruiting Class
Kentucky Football has secured a significant addition to its 2027 recruiting class with the commitment of 4-star wide receiver Tyler Fryman. Fryman, a standout athlete from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, initially committed to Louisville Baseball but has now flipped his commitment to join the football program at Kentucky. The 5-foot-11, 179-pound playmaker is highly regarded in the state and is ranked as one of the top athletes in Kentucky.
Fryman's recruitment journey saw him commit to Louisville Baseball as an eighth grader before receiving a football offer from the Cardinals in June 2025. However, Kentucky entered the picture later that year when Mark Stoops and the coaching staff extended an offer to the talented athlete. Following an official visit to Lexington, Fryman made the decision to decommit from Louisville and join Kentucky's 2027 recruiting class under the new coaching staff led by Will Stein.
Ranked as the No. 210 overall prospect in the country, the No. 30 wide receiver nationally, and the No. 3 player in Kentucky by the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Fryman's impressive junior season showcased his versatility on the field. With 45 receptions for 1,023 yards and 18 touchdowns, along with rushing yards and scores, Fryman has proven himself as a sought-after athlete in Northern Kentucky.
While Fryman excels in football, he has also expressed interest in playing baseball in college, similar to current Kentucky signee Matt Ponatoski. As Stein continues to build momentum with Kentucky's recruiting class, fans can celebrate another significant addition to the program with Fryman's commitment.
