Thomas Rhett to Join Music City Walk of Fame: A Celebration of Nashville's Musical Heritage

Thomas Rhett is set to join the prestigious Music City Walk of Fame on July 8, 2026, at 1 p.m. in Walk of Fame Park, as announced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. The ceremony is open to the public, and Rhett will be the 113th honoree in the Walk of Fame's 20-year history. With 25 No. 1 hits and five GRAMMY nominations, Rhett has solidified his position as one of country music's top artists, embodying the artistic legacy that the Walk of Fame aims to honor. Established to recognize those who contribute to Nashville's musical heritage, the Walk is a project of Music City Inc., with support from various partners including Gibson, BNA, the City of Nashville, Metro Parks and Recreation, and the Nashville Downtown Partnership.

Ellen Pryor, Chair of Music City Inc., expressed the significance of Rhett's induction, highlighting his deep connection to Nashville and his role as an ambassador for the city's songwriting tradition. Pryor emphasized Rhett's contributions to the creative music community that makes Nashville unique, underscoring the city's excitement to welcome him to the Music City Walk of Fame. Rhett's induction in 2026 follows last year's honorees, including Luke Combs, Old Dominion, Charley Pride (posthumously), and Liz Rose. The ceremony precedes Rhett's Soundtrack of Life Tour at GEODIS Park on July 9, where he will be joined by Niall Horan for a highly anticipated night for Nashville fans.
