The game started with Calgary taking a 7-0 lead in the first quarter after a touchdown pass from Adams to Dedrick Mills. B.C. tied the game at 7-7 with a touchdown by Zander Horvath. The Lions will have another chance to get their first win when they face the Edmonton Elks in Kelowna on July 4.
