Summer Sounds at Central Park: River of Dreams Pays Tribute to Billy Joel in Thompson Performing Arts Series

Enjoy a night of music at Doylestown’s Central Park with River of Dreams, a Billy Joel tribute band from Lansdale, as part of the 2026 Thompson Performing Arts Series on Wednesday night. The band will pay homage to the iconic performer with hits like “You May Be Right,” “Captain Jack,” “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” and “Only the Good Die Young.” River of Dreams aims to capture the essence of Billy Joel’s sound without impersonating his stage presence.

The concert series kicks off at 7 p.m. at the C&N Amphitheater, with a beer garden opening at 6 p.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from various food trucks on-site. Parking is conveniently located in adjacent lots and at Kutz Elementary School, with additional parking at the New Britain Road entrance to Central Park, leading back to the amphitheater.

Don’t miss out on the upcoming summer shows, all starting at 7 p.m. at the C&N Amphitheater. The lineup includes Jumper on July 8, Studio Two on July 15, Legacy on July 22, AM Radio Tribute Band on July 29, Slippery When Wet/Bon Jovi tribute on August 5, and Rock this Town on August 12. The series concludes with a special show on September 20 as part of the township’s Food Truck Festival featuring the Cherry Lane Band. Join us for a summer of music and fun at Central Park!
