Vibrant Brazilian Music Takes Center Stage at Jazz in the Park Event

Experience the vibrant sounds of Brazilian music at the upcoming Jazz in the Park event at Playhouse Village this weekend. Little Brazil, a Pasadena-based group led by Natália Spadini and Marcelo Bucater, will take the stage on Sunday, June 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Van Halen Stage. The band will showcase a mix of samba, choro, baião, and bossa nova in an acoustic performance featuring vocals, nylon-string guitar, drums, and percussion. The group's modern take on traditional Brazilian music promises an evening of lively entertainment.
The Jazz in the Park series, presented by the Playhouse Village Association in collaboration with the Playhouse Village Foundation and Arash Danialifar, offers a lineup of Sunday evening concerts throughout June and July. Supported by a grant from Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts and donations to the Playhouse Village Foundation, the series invites attendees to bring blankets or low chairs and enjoy a picnic dinner from nearby restaurants. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the lawn, with convenient on-site parking.
Located in the artsy Playhouse Village neighborhood, home to the Pasadena Playhouse and various shops and eateries, the event provides a picturesque setting for an evening of live music. Future performances include a showcase by the Los Angeles College of Music on July 5 and a Latin jazz performance by the Susie Hansen Latin Jazz Band on July 12. Don't miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich sounds of Brazilian music at Jazz in the Park with Little Brazil on June 28.
