Preparations were in full swing outside Madison Square Garden in Manhattan ahead of the anticipated wedding celebration of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Vendors were seen setting up for a large event at the iconic venue, with various companies involved in the setup process. Trucks were spotted unloading items wrapped in tarps, while forklifts were seen moving large trunks. Some vendors went to great lengths to conceal their identities by covering up logos and phone numbers.
Dozens of spotlights, chairs, and other equipment were being loaded into MSG for the upcoming event. Workers on-site mentioned that they were not informed about the clients they were setting up for. The lighting company and piping and draping business declined to comment on the preparations. It was previously reported that Swift and Kelce would be tying the knot over the July 3 weekend, with their reception planned at MSG.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani hinted at the impending nuptials while discussing security arrangements for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Permits were filed for street closures around MSG and a public tent for up to 999 people outside the venue. A smaller event for 100 people was also confirmed for Thursday, likely the rehearsal dinner. Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are set to perform at the wedding, with celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed overseeing the arrangements.
A star-studded guest list is expected to attend the wedding, including Adrien Brody, Zoë Kravitz, and Gigi Hadid. Notably, Miles Teller and his wife did not receive an invite. Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025 after two years of dating. The exact wedding date remains unknown, but sources are calling it Kelce and Swift's "Wedding-palooza."
