57th Nashville Film Festival: A Celebration of Film, Music, and Tennessee Stories

The Nashville Film Festival, a longstanding event in the city, will be back for its 57th edition from September 24 to 30. The festival will showcase close to 150 films from various parts of the world. The first three titles announced have special ties to Tennessee, including a documentary on rock legend Peter Frampton, a film about Memphis's Lorraine Motel, and a coming-of-age story featuring high school filmmakers from the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Peter Frampton will make a personal appearance on the festival's Opening Night for a discussion following the screening of his documentary. Emmy-winning director Sam Pollard will also participate in a discussion about his film, along with writer and executive producer Alvin D. Hall. The festival will take place at notable venues in Nashville, such as the National Museum of African American Music, Belcourt Theatre, Hooky Entertainment at the Nashville Yards, and Regal Green Hills. The week will include Q&A sessions with filmmakers, industry panels, and parties to bring together creatives, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts.
VIP Badges for the festival are currently available for purchase.
