Keon Ellis, a former Cleveland Cavaliers guard, has signed a lucrative two-year, $18 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets, as reported by ESPN. The Cavs acquired Ellis in a trade with the Sacramento Kings on February 1, which also involved the Chicago Bulls. In the trade, the Cavs received Ellis and Dennis Schröder from the Kings, while the Kings acquired De’Andre Hunter from the Cavs, and the Bulls received draft picks and Dario Šarić from the Kings. During his time with the Cavs, Ellis played in 29 regular-season games, starting six of them, and posted solid averages of 8.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.8 blocks in 24.8 minutes per game.
