Rush's Fort Worth Shows Postponed Due to Geddy Lee's Health Issues: Rescheduled Dates Announced

Rush's Fifty Something reunion tour has faced another setback as the Canadian prog rockers had to postpone their upcoming shows in Fort Worth, Texas due to singer/bassist Geddy Lee's health issues. The band announced the postponement on Facebook, citing Lee's diagnosis of laryngitis and bronchitis as the reason for the delay. The shows originally scheduled for June 30 and July 2 have been rescheduled to July 11 and July 13, respectively, with tickets to be honored on the new dates or refunded for those unable to attend.
The band expressed their disappointment at having to postpone the shows, acknowledging the inconvenience to fans who had made travel plans and were eagerly anticipating the performances. Rush emphasized their commitment to delivering the best possible performance to their audience and stated that Lee needs additional time to rest and recover before returning to the stage. The group thanked their fans for their understanding and support during this time and looked forward to seeing them at the rescheduled shows.
This latest setback comes after the tour's initial delay in Fort Worth on June 24, which was rescheduled multiple times due to travel and border-related issues. The tour, which began on June 7 in Inglewood, Calif., features guitarist Alex Lifeson and drummer Anika Nilles, who replaced the late Neil Peart. The band is scheduled to continue the tour with a four-night stand in Chicago before concluding in Helsinki, Finland in 2027. Rush remains grateful for their fans' patience and continued support as they navigate these challenges.
