Fayetteville is gearing up for a week of Fourth of July festivities to celebrate America's 250th birthday. The Arkansas National Guard will kick off the celebrations with a flyover in downtown Fayetteville on July 2 at 1:30 p.m. Later that evening, the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series will feature live music, food trucks, and a special proclamation from Mayor Molly Rawn.

The excitement continues on July 3 at Fayetteville's Upper Ramble with the Sound Bites event, where attendees can sample dishes from over 20 local restaurants for $55. The event will also include free live music and food trucks for a fun evening out.

On the main event day, July 4, the A250 Festivities & Firework Show will take place at the Northwest Arkansas Mall for the first time in over a decade. The event will feature free food, local vendors, kids' activities, and a fireworks show starting at 9 p.m. CEO of Experience Fayetteville, Ryan Hauck, advises attendees to stay hydrated, bring snacks, and enjoy the music on 94.9 FM during the fireworks display.
