The Next Move": Questlove's New Talk Show on Do You Want More Channel

Questlove, the drummer of The Roots, is set to launch a new talk show called "The Next Move." The show, developed in partnership with North Road Company and Two One Five Entertainment, will feature Questlove and three guests engaging in various games and conversations. The talk show will air on Questlove's new channel, Do You Want More, under his production company, Two One Five. "The Next Move" is the first of many digital content projects planned by Questlove and Black Thought's production company.

Questlove shared that hosting game nights has been a favorite social experiment of his career. The show will offer viewers a glimpse into the personalities of the guests as they play games and engage in discussions. Questlove's game nights, which started in the 2010s and gained popularity during the pandemic, have attracted celebrities like Taylor Swift, Jason Sudeikis, and Lupita Nyong'o. The guest lineup for the first season of "The Next Move," developed in collaboration with Amazon, is yet to be revealed.

Two One Five Entertainment, founded by Questlove and Black Thought, focuses on creating culturally rooted and storytelling-driven content. "The Next Move" marks the production company's latest unscripted media venture and will be featured on their new channel, "Do You Want More." The series is co-produced by Two One Five and Connor Schell's Full Day, a division of Words + Pictures.

Questlove and The Roots have been making waves with recent performances at the Obama Presidential Center Library opening and a collaboration with Jay-Z at the annual Roots picnic. Questlove also released a documentary titled "Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial vs That’s the Weight of the World)" in June, with more projects like "Sly Lives! (aka The Burden of Black Genius)" and "Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music" in the pipeline. The upcoming talk show "The Next Move" promises to offer an entertaining and insightful look into the lives of celebrities through games and conversations.
