Ali Larter's Summer Escape: Embracing a Simpler Lifestyle in Idaho

Ali Larter, known for her role in "Landman," has found a simpler summer lifestyle in Idaho compared to her time in Los Angeles. Since moving to Sun Valley in 2020, Larter's summer routine has drastically changed. She now enjoys activities like biking, cold plunges in the river, barbecuing, playing with her dogs, and indulging in ice cream cones at Leroy's with her family.

The longer days in Idaho allow Larter to spend quality time with her children, Teddy and Vivienne, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The decision to stay in Idaho was solidified during the COVID-19 lockdown when they realized the benefits of the community and lifestyle there. Larter and her husband, Hayes MacArthur, wanted a more family-focused lifestyle away from the demands of Los Angeles.

Living in Idaho during the latter half of the school year provided Larter and her family with a sense of community and a slower pace of life. They returned to Los Angeles for the summer and realized the pressures and demands of being in the entertainment industry hub. Larter expressed her love for Los Angeles but emphasized the importance of prioritizing family over career obligations.

At the Newport Beach TV Fest, Larter shared insights into her character, Angela, in "Landman," describing her as a "wildcat" and expressing a desire to embody some of Angela's traits in her daily life. The move to Idaho has allowed Larter to appreciate a simpler and more family-oriented lifestyle, away from the distractions of city life.
