Prime Video has announced the premiere date for its upcoming limited series, The Greatest, which will debut on Wednesday, November 4. The series, starring Jaalen Best as Muhammad Ali, will provide an intimate look into the life of the legendary boxing champion and global icon. Executive produced by Lonnie Ali, the widow of Ali, The Greatest is the first authorized scripted series about his life, showcasing pivotal moments both inside and outside the ring.
The eight-episode series is a collaboration between Ben Watkins' Blue Monday Productions and Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society, along with Authentic Studios, Roc Nation, Polygram Entertainment, and Grace: A Storytelling Company. Ben Watkins serves as the showrunner and executive producer, with Elizabeth Raposo from Outlier Society and Corey Salter, Marc Rosen, and Matthew Gross from Authentic Brand Group also executive producing. Additional executive producers include Aiyana White, Jeff Augustin, Owen Shiflett, Michele Anthony, Boyd Muir, David Blackman, Stefano Agosto, and Josh Wakely.
