A tree fell onto a No. 4 train subway car in the Bronx, causing injuries to the train operator and leading to a suspension of a portion of the line. The incident occurred as the northbound train was nearing the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium station on Saturday evening. The female train operator sustained injuries, but they are not believed to be serious. She will be taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. The MTA indicated that the fallen tree caused damage to the train operator's cab. Passengers were safely evacuated to another train that arrived behind the affected one. Fortunately, there were no other reported injuries. As a result of the incident, there is no 4 train service between Woodlawn and 149 St-Grand Concourse.
