Fatal Shooting in Dún Laoghaire: Gardaí Investigate Incident at Patrician Park
A fatal shooting occurred in Dún Laoghaire, south Dublin this morning. The incident took place at Patrician Park on Kill Avenue around 8:30 am. A man in his 40s sustained fatal injuries during the shooting. His body remains at the scene, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted. The Garda Technical Bureau is examining the preserved scene, with road closures in effect at Kill Avenue and Glenageary Road Upper, and local diversions in place.
